NiteLife Entertainment’s unique concept was formulated by its founder, Doug Butcher, in 1978. At the time, the existing infrastructure and knowledge base in the U.S. Military in regards to MWR programs was very limited, and our founder saw an opportunity to fill the void. The need for quality entertainment options on-Base, along with the use of high-quality equipment and professionally trained Disc Jockeys playing appropriate music, became readily obvious to our Management. Hence, NiteLife was born as an expert outsourcer of quality entertainment for our Military. Headquartered initially in the San Diego, California area, the company was moved to the Houston, Texas region in 2002. After a reorganization effort that took place shortly after, the company now is fully-owned subsidiary of Performance Sound & Light, Inc.
