The Benefits of The NiteLife Way

For the Base or Post
First, it eliminates the need for an upfront capital outlay, which can range from $50,000 to $250,000 in most cases. As many of these purchases fall under a non-appropriated funding basis and it is usually expected for the venues to pay for these costs out of profits, this model helps tremendously with cash flow management, as it amortizes the true cost of the project over the 3 years of the Contract. Secondly, it provides the expert knowledge of entertainment, music selection, DJ techniques, human motivation and crowd psychology that possibly can not be offered by Base personnel. Third, we supply the DVD programming content (video/music) on an ongoing basis. Finally, the Base saves money by not having to maintain the hardware and dedicate personnel to that effect.

For the Club Manager or equivalent
It frees him or her from having to personally manage DJ’s, music selection, equipment operation, programming and scheduling, allowing him or her to concentrate on more important aspects of running operations. In practical terms, this means that he or she can work regular hours, and not have to work at night in most cases. It solves the headache of having to deal with broken equipment, repairs and returns, and other technical matters. Our ATC can also provide ideas on promotions or special themes to “spice up” the programming, liberating the Club Manager from having to come up with these ideas on his own.

An example of the economics involved
As is the case with most electronic equipment, the standard life of sound, lighting and video components is between 3-4 years only. Because of the advance of technology and new models and improved features, an installed base of hardware becomes obsolete after 5 years. The costs of new hardware for a medium-sized Club, plus engineering, installation, and shipping, can easily become a $200,000 project. If we add to that the cost of preventive maintenance, upkeep, and training of dedicated personnel, it can run into another $50,000 annual expense. Adding to that the costs of Disc Jockeys and entertainment personnel, it can become another $50,000 annual cost. Finally, the ongoing cost of a broadcast-quality, radio-edited music/video collection can run in excess of $10,000 per year. Under a scenario in which the Base undertakes all of this on its own, the first year of operation of a Club with new equipment can be a $300,000 proposition just including the items above.

Enter NiteLife Entertainment. With our innovative “pay-as-you-go” Contract, it can provide a turnkey solution for as low as $42,640 per year (at the minimum of 20 hours a week). What’s more, at or before the 5-year mark, at the appropriate renewal date, NiteLife will upgrade the equipment to new models and/or improved functionality, to keep the installed base humming smoothly. This is in addition to all the other intangible benefits of using NiteLife, as stated above.
